In the far 1994 two brothers of Chicago, Andy and Larry Wachowski (recently the latter has changed sex, becoming Lana Wachowski), who in that period were working as scriptwriters and cartoonists (and also as painters as a pastime), decided to focus all their imagination and talent on the production of a movie pertaining to “real worlds” and “worlds within worlds”, a story which tells the events of a dystopian future: the whole humanity lives enslaved by cruel and terrible machines, which keep it in check through a virtual reality...
